Committees &Volunteers
The Executive Board of the Relay Elementary PTA is excited about the new school year. We are currently in the planning stages for our PTA year and activities. We are currently Seeking PTA Members to serve and/or Chair committees. Below you will find a brief description of some of the committees, activities and fundraising that we Need Your Help With.
PTA Membership
- Marielle Dilks will chair the PTA membership committee.
Volunteer Coordinator
- Tim & Sara Toscano will Chair the Volunteer Coordination Committee.
Little Caesar's Fundraiser
- Little Caesar's Pizza is an annual “kick off” fundraiser where we sell pizzas and desserts. Robert Dilks will be the Chairperson for this fundraiser.
Basket Bingo
- Kim Haas & Shelly Reed will be the chairpersons for this year's Basket Bingo event. However volunteers are still needed to assist Kim's efforts. Activities will include coordinating a location for the event, donations of baskets and items to “stuff” the baskets, set up and clean up and volunteers to work the event.
Fall and Spring Book Fair
- Volunteers are needed to coordinate the Book Fairs that will be held in the Fall and Spring.
Box Tops & Campbell Food Labels
- Katie Bentley is the Box Tops & Campbell Food Labels Committee Chair for the 2010/2011 school year. Further details to come on when and where your family can begin contributing box tops. Also more information may be found at http://www.boxtops4education.com/.
School Marque
- We Need a volunteer tocoordinate the School Marque updates for the 2010/2011 school year.
Kids Go Shopping
- Leanna Montgomery will be coordinating the Kids Go Shopping event scheduled for December.
Market Day
- Lori Layton will be the chair for Market Day. Sales from this monthly fundraiser that offers quality food and product goes toward technology at Relay. www.marketday.com
